Dr. Jay Katz is the proud owner of Healthy Pets Veterinary Care and an Old English Sheep Dog named Max. Dr. Katz excels at working with dogs and cats but also loves seeing “pocket pets” and other exotics. He is interested in surgery, dermatology, pain management, and senior care.

Hi! I am Courtney. I have been working as a Vet Tech since 2015. My love for animals goes beyond my job. I have fostered 15 cats, and each has found a wonderful forever home. I’m currently a Junior at FAU for Elementary Education. I want to be an Art Teacher! When I’m not cuddling with one of my 4 cats, my nose deep in my sketchbook. Being a part of the Healthy Pets family has given me such joy that I couldn’t have asked for a better workplace!

After years of working in the makeup industry, I decided I wanted to do more with myself and to be around animals! I’ve been in Florida for 5 years, and I love it here! I have been a vet tech for 5 years and in the veterinary field for 8 years. I couldn’t ask for a better job. I love what I do. It brings me joy to help animals and make them feel better! I love learning all that I can about veterinary medicine and making pets happy. I hope I get to do this forever!

Jenni
Jenni

Kennel Technician

Hi! My name is Jenni, and I’m one of the Kennel Techs here at Healthy Pets Boca North! I’m a Mexican-American first-generation student born and raised in Delray Beach, Florida. I’ve always had a soft spot for dogs, and of course I fell in love with cats too!

I currently have three fur babies who love to roam freely around the house. Patron (6)🐾 and Chase (7)🐾are my K9s, and Pixie (3) is my kitty cat. I decided to look into a kennel tech position at Healthy Pets Boca North to broaden my knowledge and understanding of all animals.

As a Kennel Tech, I have the ability to bond with boarders and create a stress-free environment for them as the owners are away. I’m not just babysitting pets; I’m ensuring they have the best experience and looking out to see any changes in behaviors. The best part of my job is that I get to create a friendship with each fur baby! ❤️ I am blessed to be a part of this amazing team!

Hi! I’m J’avionne, but I also go by Jay Jay. I’m from St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and I’m currently working toward my associate’s degree in biology. I plan to continue my studies in zoology at Florida International University.

I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have always been drawn to veterinary medicine. Growing up, I had all kinds of pets, which helped build my experience and passion for animal care. These days, I share my home with a lively group of birds—including cockatiels, a ring-necked parrot, and a cockatoo—along with my Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, watching anime, and dressing up for the occasional anime convention or Renaissance fair.
